Message from our CEO

I am pleased to report that ALFAREAHA TRANSPORT delivered another year of strong performance. Given the headwinds and turbulence in the global economy, it certainly was a successful year for the Company. 2020 was challenging and being close to our customers and their businesses, we are well aware of the effects of COVID-19 and the lingering low oil price environment for various businesses. Still, the economy of the UAE continued to diversify and to grow year on year. ALFAREAHA Intl Transport grew, too. In fact, we did more than grow. We continued to invest in enhancing the customer experience and in our Fleet. We continued to invest in our infrastructure as we re-engineer and upgrade our core transport system. We continued to invest in our people. Yes, profitability increased, net profit of AED 157 million for 2019 was 6.5% increase year on year. This was primarily on account of the tightening liquidity environment that has driven up our cost of funds and higher impairment allowances reflective of our prudent and disciplined approach to risk management. But in other leading indicators and measures that matter, we continued to perform exceptionally well. The factors driving ALFAREAHA Intl Transport continued success are clear to see.

History to Future

Alfareah Transport is based in Dubai and its operations are spread across the GCC countries. Company started its operations in Dubai and today Alfareah Transport is a leading player in UAE for all kind of heavy transport. Alfareah Transport overall aim is meet our customers’ needs with best possible services levels with top quality equipment and at a highly competitive level of pricing. Alfareah Transport is aiming to expand its share of the domestic heavy-haulage market to gain from lower operational costs and thus be more competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace. In line with the expansion strategies, the company will grow its fleet of tipper trailers. Moreover, Alfareah Transport is venturing into different transportation modes using not only tippers but also bulkers to fulfill specialized projects in the infrastructure and construction industries. Alfareah Transport will also launch its new corporate headquarters as part of the growth strategy. The upcoming premises boast a site exceeding 1000,000 sq. ft. with a capacity to host 12000 employees working double-shifts. The plant includes state-of-the-art machinery and a modern servicing center for our fleet of heavy vehicles. The existing Alfareah Transport head office will remain functional and will be utilized fully by our ever- growing Operations team of professionals in an effort to further enhance customer service and satisfaction levels.
